Before the holiday season kicks into full swing, we have some important news for racing game enthusiasts. A certain PS5 and PS4 racing game series is about to be permanently removed from the digital shelves. That’s right—gamers have until December 31 to snap up the NASCAR games and any accompanying DLC, as they will soon be delisted from all platforms, including the PlayStation Store.
Currently, you can snag the standard editions of NASCAR games for $20 or less on the PS Store, and certain titles come with bonus DLC at no extra cost. For instance, you can get the NASCAR Heat 3 – Hendrick Motorsports Test Scheme Pack included for free.
In the ongoing PS Store sale, NASCAR Arcade Rush is a steal at a whopping 70% off, going for just $15. Plus, if you’re a subscriber to PS Plus Extra, you’re in luck. NASCAR Heat 5 is available in the catalog, meaning you can enjoy it without any cost until the end of December.
Here’s the full list of the ten NASCAR games that will be removed from all platforms:
– NASCAR 15: Victory Edition
– NASCAR Rivals
– NASCAR 21: Ignition
– NASCAR Heat Mobile
– NASCAR Heat Evolution
– NASCAR Heat Ultimate Edition
– NASCAR Heat 2
– NASCAR Heat 3
– NASCAR Heat 4
– NASCAR Heat 5
Don’t worry if you already own any of these titles—you’ll still be able to play them after December 31.
In terms of the franchise’s future, iRacing has acquired the NASCAR license and is currently developing NASCAR 25, slated for release in fall 2025. Exciting times ahead!
