For the first time on British soil, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which has achieved a staggering 46 million sales globally since its debut in March 2020, is joining forces with SEA LIFE UK for a fresh, interactive experience. This exciting collaboration invites visitors to explore breathtaking marine environments alongside beloved characters from the game.
Launching at SEA LIFE Manchester on February 8th, 2025, this engaging tour will proceed to SEA LIFE locations in Birmingham, Brighton, London, and the Chessington World of Adventures Resort, enchanting fans of both SEA LIFE and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
SEA LIFE UK, a part of Merlin Entertainments—the world’s second-largest leisure group and the biggest aquarium network—provides the perfect setting for this adventure. With a variety of themed zones at every location, from the Atlantic and Arctic to the lush Rainforest and vibrant Tropics, visitors can engage with a vast and diverse collection of marine life.

A guided tour will lead guests through the ‘Sea Life Islands,’ where they will meet island characters like Aurora and Octavian and marvel at diverse sea creatures. They’ll also partake in a fossil dig, uncovering the ancient ancestors of today’s marine life, and embark on a quest to find Gulliver, who has made an unexpected stop on the island beaches.
Fans can collect character stamps, learn fascinating facts about SEA LIFE inhabitants, and have the chance to meet Tom Nook and Isabelle. To conclude their visit, guests can browse Animal Crossing: New Horizons-themed merchandise available at the aquarium store.
