Marvel’s Vision Series Revives a Long-Forgotten MCU Villain

Exciting news for Marvel fans: the upcoming WandaVision spinoff, Vision Quest, is adding a familiar face to its cast roster. This new addition is a character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe who hasn’t been seen in quite some time.

The buzz around Vision Quest began last year when it was announced that we’d delve deeper into the story of Vision, specifically the White Vision version. This is the reimagined synthezoid character who flew off at the end of WandaVision. Paul Bettany is set to reprise his role as Vision, and fans will be pleased to hear that James Spader is lined up to return as the sinister Ultron. But that’s not all; another surprising name has popped up. According to Deadline, Faran Tahir is expected to make a comeback as Raza. If you’re struggling to place him, Raza was the commander of the Ten Rings group that abducted Tony Stark way back in the original Iron Man movie, setting Stark on his path to becoming the iconic armored hero.

Details about Raza’s role in Vision Quest are still under wraps, which makes sense given that Raza was presumed dead. This leaves us speculating about how he’ll fit into the series. Rumor has it that the storyline will revolve around Vision’s quest to reclaim his memories and humanity. After all, the original Vision met his demise at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, while the WandaVision iteration was a creation of Wanda Maximoff.
