Exciting news from BouncyBrain as they gear up to launch Full Steam: Fluffy X Machina for the Nintendo Switch!
In this thrilling roguelite beat ’em up, players will engage in epic battles against the notorious Krok Inc. You’ll have control over critter pilots and their powerful mechs, all set against a captivating diesel-punk backdrop.
Prepare yourself for gameplay that promises to be revolutionary, blending mech-based combat with both solo and cooperative modes. Fans of Castle Crashers, TitanFall, and Super Mario 3D World are in for a treat with this unique fusion. Plus, if you’re into competitive play, there’s a mode inspired heavily by the Super Smash Bros. series, where up to four players can clash in various vibrant arenas.
Guy Bareli, the game director who has previously worked on blockbuster animations like Minions, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and Kung Fu Panda 3, shares his vision: "We wanted Full Steam to capture the heart and thrill of our cherished animated films and bring that magic into the indie gaming scene."
Here’s a quick look at what the game has in store:
Go Tiny or Go Mech: Choose to be a swift and cunning critter or summon your powerful mech. Each encounter demands its own strategy.
Roguelite Progression: No two playthroughs are alike with randomized mech upgrades, a variety of weapons/items, and diverse enemy mobs.
Unlockable Mechs: As you progress, unlock different mechs, each offering a unique playstyle and signature abilities. Whether you want to be a Brawler, Long Range fighter, Mobile Fortress, Ninja, or another class entirely, the choice is yours.
Single Player / Co-Op Play: Dive in solo or team up with NPCs, or better yet, invite friends and family. Trust us, facing the challenges ahead is easier with backup!
PvP Action: Enter the Sparring Arena and face off against others to see who claims victory with up to four players.
Full Steam: Fluffy X Machina is set to be available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch users across the globe. While we eagerly await a confirmed release date, anticipation is certainly building.
