Indie developer Immersion Games from Poland is gearing up to release their latest creation later this month. This new game adds a fantastical spin to familiar VR fitness mechanics, promising to capture the imagination of players.
Titled Fitness Fables, the game touts an impressive array of features that you’d typically find in a fantasy adventure, including a whopping 80 levels, 16 boss encounters, and a plethora of bonus challenges. All together, it offers around 24 hours of gameplay.
Fitness Fables takes players on an on-rails journey, putting a strong spotlight on 24 different exercises. Players can expect to engage in power squats, rope swings, sky presses, battle ropes, and even punching and rowing, among others.
For those who aren’t exactly inclined towards rhythm games like Beat Saber or Synth Riders, or guided workout experiences such as Supernatural or Les Mills Bodycombat, this game seems to be a perfect fit. It provides a novel entry into the VR fitness scene.
Moreover, Fitness Fables isn’t emerging out of nowhere. Immersion Games boasts a solid track record with several VR titles under its belt. These include the popular PvP combat game Divine Duel, the puzzle-action game Extreme Escape, and the sporty adventure Disc Ninja.
The launch is set for Quest on January 30th, and if you’re eager to jump in, it’s available for pre-order on the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and later models, priced competitively at $12.
