Being Jon Lindemann seems to be an ever-present state when it comes to Jon Lindemann himself.
This week, we dove into our picks for the Top Five Games of 2024. For those who might not be familiar with how RFN does this, the guidelines are as loose as they can get. Essentially, we focus on any games released on Nintendo systems in 2024. However, even those aren’t hard-and-fast rules but more of a flexible roadmap. Ideally, you’d think the games listed were at least played in 2024, although historically, we’ve seen exceptions where games from other times made it onto the list for various reasons.
Given these incredibly broad strokes, trying to get everyone to agree on a single Top Five would be a fool’s errand, so these lists end up being quite personal.
Interestingly, we did have some overlap. Two of us ended up putting the same game at number one. Good luck guessing which one, though—I’m pretty confident no one will figure it out. Although I’m sure someone will message us claiming they did, and I’m just here imagining their untruths.
Feel free to send your mysterious guesses to our digital inbox.
A big shoutout to Guillaume Veillette, who was the wizard behind the editing for this episode. The theme song, “Men of Leisure,” was crafted exclusively for Radio Free Nintendo by Perry Burkum, and you can check out more of his work on SoundCloud. Our logo was brought to life by Connor Strickland, who has more of his creative endeavors showcased on his personal site.
Lastly, the music playing us out for this episode is “Chasing After Dad” from Another Code Recollection, requested by A.G. All rights are owned by Nintendo Co., Ltd.
