Get ready for battle, Legends! This season, it’s all about the community taking the driver’s seat with some of your favorite creators leading the charge in both content and competition. These Creator Commissioners will be crafting challenges inspired by their own Apex experiences, offering a slew of fresh and exclusive items up for grabs. Prepare yourself with new Arsenals and shops packed with everything you need for an immediate dive into the action. Alongside plenty of updates for the Legends and bold shifts in the game’s meta, we’ve curated quite the celebration for you this season. And there’s even more excitement with our Anniversary Event, unveiling community-created content and debuting the Mythic R-301. Mark your calendars—Apex Legends: Takeover is launching on February 11.
Let’s dive into the Creator Commissioners. Four unique creators will each lead for two weeks, bringing in their custom challenges, fan-favorite game modes, and a host of rewards. During the first week, team up with other players to tackle Community challenges, which will determine the number of Apex Packs available the following week.
When week two rolls around, it’s time to rake in those goodies. Five individual challenges stand between you and unlocking a creator-chosen Legendary weapon skin, alongside the Apex Packs from your earlier efforts. Just remember, participating in week one doesn’t automatically secure your rewards in week two. So jump back into the fray during the second week for the full experience.
Meet your Creator Commissioners and their Legendary selections:
– February 25 – March 10, 2025: Ninjayla—Wingman’s Death Ray
– March 11 – 24, 2025: Oraxe—Kraber’s The Pioneer
– April 1-14, 2025: Apryze—Mastiff’s Bone Breaker
– April 15 – 28, 2025: Kaminari Kyupi—Mastiff’s Tombstick
Enter the Arsenals, a brand-new feature for Battle Royale that gives you seamless access to weapons and ammo of your choice. These stations will be tactically placed across all POIs on every map, offering random ammo types with each match.
Arsenals don’t just stop at providing ammo; they also allow you to enhance your weapons. Upgrade one weapon per Arsenal, but make sure it matches the ammo type of that Arsenal. Doing this grants you an upgraded attachment along with an optic if needed. When bins reset, so do the Arsenals—letting you upgrade yet again with even more powerful options. Plus, the amount of ammo provided significantly increases upon each reset.
This season, anticipate dramatic meta changes that will have you strategizing in no time. Every weapon class is receiving adjustments for heightened competitiveness against Assault Rifles. Notably, the time-to-kill has been reduced, a result of these weapon tweaks as well as updates to Armor, Helmets, and headshot multipliers. Updates aren’t exclusive to weapons—Legends receive new perks too. The Assault class is getting some practical enhancements, and both Ash and Ballistic are getting extra attention. Even the regen items are seeing changes to help maintain that fighting spirit amidst these lethal updates.
Finally, the Legend Spotlight Passes are here. Complete challenges with this all-new pass to boost your proficiency with potential new Legends, and earn tantalizing rewards as you advance through twenty levels to claim the ultimate prize: a Legendary skin pack for the highlighted Legend. Available for purchase in the game store once a season per Legend, this pass will also unlock the Legend if you haven’t already done so.
Remember, Apex Legends: Takeover launches on February 11, 2025—don’t miss out!
