DodgeCraft is making waves as it challenges your reflexes with its latest virtual reality sports training game, now available on both Quest and PlayStation VR2.
Building on their previous success with CleanSheet Soccer, the Belfast-based studio INCISIV Ltd has launched its second title, DodgeCraft. This game blends swift action with clever deception, putting your agility to the test. Designed to push your evasion and tackling skills across various modes, you can catch a glimpse of the excitement in the video below.
At launch, DodgeCraft offers two engaging gameplay modes. In ‘Dodge’Em’, players are faced with an asteroid belt, requiring them to bob and weave around incoming meteorites, providing a full-body workout. Meanwhile, ‘Run the Gauntlet’ has you up against waves of bots and humanoids employing tricky maneuvers to bypass you. Plus, the game also supports mixed reality, enriching the immersive experience.
INCISIV’s CEO, Professor Cathy Craig, shared that DodgeCraft draws inspiration from her personal experiences in sports. Having played as an out-half for Ulster Rugby, Cathy often found herself hesitating when it came to making tackles.
“As a player, I frequently held back and didn’t commit to a hit. DodgeCraft offers a fantastic way to learn how to anticipate and react decisively as a defender, all while eliminating the risk of injury. Essentially, it lets you train without the pain!” she explained in a recent statement.
Now available on the Meta Quest and PlayStation VR2 systems, DodgeCraft invites you to hone your skills without leaving your living room.
