Starting off with Antonblast, this vibrant platformer whisks you away to zany worlds full of chaos and deals with devils. It’s a game where destruction takes center stage, with dynamite playing a key role. The unique challenge kicks in at the end of each level, when you must race back to the start before everything blows up. Next in line is the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered collection. This epic dark fantasy series first appeared back in 1996. Soul Reaver, although technically the second installment following Blood Omen, offers a distinct experience. It follows the resurrected vampire, Kain, seeking vengeance.
Meanwhile, Tetris has made a triumphant return! The classic NES version is now available on Nintendo Switch Online, bringing timeless enjoyment to the hybrid console. We’ve already spent some time with this gem, and we’ll be discussing it in the upcoming episode of the Pure Nintendo Podcast.

ANTONBLAST – Take on the devil himself as you set off on a rampage to reclaim your cherished spirit collection in this energetic action-platformer. Equipped with either the Mighty Hammer as Dynamite Anton or the Massive Mace as Dynamite Annie, you’re in for some real fun. Destroy colorful worlds and face off against tough bosses, all rendered in beautiful hand-drawn pixel art. Smashing through levels is essential, and you’ll need to navigate back to the start before the detonator timer runs out. ANTONBLAST will be launching on December 13, but you can try out a free demo today on the Nintendo eShop.
Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered – Dive into the deep conflicts of Kain and Raziel in their original and remastered glory. After being betrayed and executed by his former master Kain, Raziel resurrects with a burning need for revenge. Engage in battles using claws, telekinetic energy, and the elemental Wraith Blade. Grow stronger by devouring enemy souls. This collection includes both Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and its sequel, and it’s available now on the Nintendo eShop.
Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online
Tetris® – Enjoy the renowned puzzle game that originally launched on the NES in 1989. Stack seven different types of Tetrimino blocks in perfect horizontal lines for scores and screen clearance. The gameplay is all about speed and strategy to hit high scores! Tetris® includes two modes: A-TYPE, which ends when blocks reach the top, and B-TYPE, where your goal is a high score over 25 lines. It’s available now for Nintendo Switch Online members.
Game Boy – Nintendo Switch Online
Tetris® DX – Released for the Game Boy Color in 1998, this version offers a variety of modes. In MARATHON, play until your blocks reach the top. ULTRA mode challenges you to score high in just three minutes, while 40LINES tests how quickly you can clear 40 lines. VS. COM mode pits you against the computer at different difficulty levels, and 2PLAYER mode allows you to challenge friends. Tetris® DX is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members.

STAR WARS: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles – Immerse yourself in this fast-paced arcade action game set in the STAR WARS universe. Utilize the Force and your lightsaber to take on legions of droids and other threats from The Phantom Menace. Play as characters like Mace Windu or Obi-Wan Kenobi and experience two-player co-op through the 10-level campaign. The game launches on January 23, and pre-orders are open now on the Nintendo eShop.
Game Trials
Cozy Grove – Enter the charming world of Cozy Grove, a life-sim game set on a haunted island. As a Spirit Scout, your task is to build, make friends, and bring life back to your surroundings. Decorate, explore, and interact with the island’s spectral inhabitants. A free Game Trial is available until December 17, and participating Nintendo Switch Online members can earn 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points. Plus, Cozy Grove is available at half-price until December 30.
