As of November 14, the last of the five speedrun levels for the Astro Bot DLC have been rolled out, but it appears there’s a possibility of even more exciting content on the way.
According to a report by VGC, eagle-eyed players have noticed the game credits listing several VIP bots yet to make their in-game debut. Among these tantalizing names are Rayman, Assassin’s Creed, and Beyond Good and Evil. Additionally, IGN has highlighted Tomba as another VIP bot cameo still unseen.
In recent weeks, starting from Thursday, October 17, Team Asobi has been treating players to five fresh speedrun DLC levels. Each of these levels has introduced two new VIP bots to save, bringing the total to 10 new VIP bots thus far, as detailed on the PlayStation Blog. These levels showcase bots drawing inspiration from games like Stellar Blade and the particularly noteworthy Helldivers 2.
With 10 VIP bots now available and some still MIA, it’s only a matter of time before Sony and Team Asobi officially announce when these absent VIP bots will join the roster. Once the word is out, these additional cameos might arrive in brand-new challenge levels beyond just the speedrun variety.
