As for voting criteria, that’s entirely up to your personal taste! Imagine recommending just one new release to a friend — which game would earn your endorsement? Keep in mind that re-released titles aren’t eligible, but remakes are fair game. We consider remakes to be major, ambitious overhauls, akin to Resident Evil 4 (2023) and the Final Fantasy VII Remake.
