MoonHood is gearing up to launch its much-anticipated adventure game, “The Midnight Walk,” set to debut on May 8th, 2025, for both PSVR 2 and PC VR headsets.
The newly released trailer offers a closer look at the game, highlighting some of the intriguing object interactions and shooting mechanics that players can expect to experience.
In this captivating game, you take on the role of ‘The Burnt One,’ embarking on a journey with a unique lantern creature named Potboy. Potboy’s flame is your beacon in the darkness, guiding your path.
MoonHood has crafted a richly atmospheric world where you’ll need to rely on stealth and cunning, alongside a few other tricks, to navigate past an array of menacing monsters eager to extinguish Potboy’s light. The game features five gripping tales of fire and shadow, with a memorable lineup of quirky characters.
The developers have brought these dark and twisted characters to life through intricate hand modeling and 3D scanning, creating an immersive atmosphere that might remind players of the classic “Nightmare Before Christmas.”
Beyond VR, the game will be accessible on the PlayStation 5 and PC in a traditional flatscreen format. It’s available for pre-order now at a price of $40 on the PlayStation Store, and you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
