In November, we’re seeing a shift from the packed Expansion Pack updates of October, bringing a classic solo game to the standard tier of the Switch Online libraries.
Now featured in the Game Boy collection is “Donkey Kong Land,” originally released in 1995. This version is a tailor-made Game Boy adaptation of the iconic “Donkey Kong Country,” which coincidentally is marking its 30th anniversary this week.
This is the first time we’ve seen an update to the basic tier since a batch of SNES games landed in September. It’s also noteworthy as the first Game Boy addition since the entire Mega Man series was introduced back in June.
