“We’ve been noticing an excessive use of first-time lofted through balls—a tactic often seen in unusual scenarios, especially at kickoffs or from tight angles deep in the field,” EA explained. To remedy this, the accuracy of these passes has been toned down. Furthermore, a fix has been implemented for an issue where the player positioning system occasionally crowded the dribbler by moving defenders too close, inadvertently triggering auto-tackles. This fix should also help maintain midfield positioning adequately.
