Fortnite might soon host one of the most iconic monsters of all time—Godzilla. According to recent reports, there’s buzz about the King of the Monsters making an appearance in the hugely popular game, alongside the entire MonsterVerse.
An influential Fortnite insider, Shiina, has taken to X to reveal that “Godzilla is coming to Fortnite,” confirming earlier claims by SamLeaks. This collaboration isn’t just limited to Fortnite; it will also inject some MonsterVerse excitement into Rocket League. Details about this potential crossover remain unclear. Godzilla might pop up as a skin—it’s possible you could see King Kong join the fray too—or perhaps the legendary kaiju will stomp across the map as a thrilling, unpredictable event in matches.
Chances are, if Godzilla becomes a part of the Fortnite universe, it’ll be during Chapter 6, which is set to launch on December 1. Before that, Fortnite is gearing up for a grand Chapter 5 and Remix Finale event, boasting appearances by Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD. Epic Games recently discussed their choice to feature Juice WRLD, even though the musician sadly passed away in 2019.
In a recent update, Fortnite introduced a fresh flair for players: their in-game characters can now sport Jordan sneakers, among other shoe options, as part of the Fortnite Kicks initiative. Epic is aiming for these sneakers to be compatible with approximately 95% of skins by Spring 2025, giving them a stylish update.
Turning back to Godzilla, this year marks the 70th anniversary of the iconic kaiju. To honor this milestone, Super7 has rolled out a brand-new Godzilla Minus One collectible toy figure. Fans can also enjoy Godzilla Minus One from the comfort of their homes, whether by renting it on platforms like Prime Video or streaming it as part of a Netflix subscription.
