It looks like some fresh images and videos have surfaced from the sets of Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout TV series, and unless I’m mistaken, this might be our first glimpse at the New Vegas Strip itself for the upcoming second season.
I say that with a hint of caution because since filming began, there have been quite a few supposed leaks of different sets from the second season floating around Twitter and Reddit. Many of these leaks suggest we’re visiting New Vegas locations like Novac, and who could forget the snapshot of that iconic dinosaur head we’re all excited to see?
Now, new visuals that seem to display a set resembling the Strip are circulating the web. The highlight of these is what unmistakably appears to be the entrance to Mr. House’s legendary Lucky 38 casino. The neon sign is intact, just in case that wasteland bullet threw your eyesight out of whack.
The clearest depiction we’ve gotten comes from a video shot by someone going by the handle onzo1313, which was later shared by the Fallout fan page, Fallout Films. The video isn’t exactly IMAX quality—think of it more like a shaky recording your enthusiastic grandma would take at a family reunion—but we do catch a glimpse of the casino opening, complete with Victor’s lurking spot, the well-known strip gate to the left, and a few retro cars parked upfront.
This detail could hint at flashbacks to pre-war New Vegas, and there’s something else to catch your eye. The Lucky 38’s tower is noticeably absent from the scene; instead, only large lights hover above the entrance. You might be thinking, “Mark, it’s Hollywood; they’ll just CGI the tower in for wide shots.”
But it’s worth pondering: if the tower’s missing, does that mean Mr. House is too? Let’s not jump to conclusions yet. Let’s skip the awkward confrontation with his absence and head over to The Tops instead. Yes, there’s a sign for it visible in another shared snap, alongside a Gomorrah sign. And, yes, we’re definitely charming Benny this time around. I hope you remembered to bring your black widow perk with you from Goodsprings.
So, what are your expectations for the portrayal of The Strip and its famous casinos in season two of Fallout? Do you think Walton Goggins’ character will end up banned from all of them? Share your thoughts below!
