Gamers who love a good engineering challenge have something to look forward to this week with the release of Bridge Constructor Studio on Quest. This time, the game offers a unique twist by incorporating both virtual and mixed reality experiences, perfect for those eager to tackle bridge-building puzzles.
Originally, Bridge Constructor Studio was set to launch last week, bringing its immersive bridge-building simulation to Quest. This would allow players to not only construct bridges but also test and refine them in mixed reality on Quest 3. Though the debut has been slightly delayed, it’s finally hitting the platform on December 12th—better late than never, right?
Upon its release, players will dive into a campaign featuring a whopping 70 different puzzles. Each task involves transporting vehicles from one side to the other using an assortment of construction materials like wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and roadways. What sets this version apart from its predecessors, as well as its main rival Poly Bridge, is the lack of budget or material restrictions by default. However, for those seeking an extra challenge, these can be enabled to earn a “special award,” according to the development team.
Beyond the campaign, Bridge Constructor Studio expands its creativity with a Scenario Creation Mode. This feature allows players to craft and play their own bridge-building escapades, with the capacity to save up to 40 custom levels to their profile. The game, developed by ClockStone STUDIO, marks another creative venture from the team that also brought us the LEGO Bricktales (2023) XR adaptation and earlier versions of Bridge Constructor dating all the way back to its original 2011 launch.
Priced at just $10, Bridge Constructor Studio will be available exclusively for Quest 2 and 3 when it arrives on December 12th. Those interested in picking it up can find it in the Horizon Store.
