PS Store Feature Disappears, Raising Concerns Among PS Plus Members

A crucial part of the PlayStation Store has mysteriously vanished, and users of PlayStation Plus are starting to worry about its absence. Just last week, we noted that Sony hadn’t updated the PS Store’s ‘Last Chance to Play’ section when the Extra and Premium games for April 2025 were introduced, which was quite unusual. Initially, we assumed this would be a short-term disappearance, but it’s been over a week now, and the section is still missing.

For those not familiar, the PS Store’s ‘Last Chance to Play’ section is crucial because it lets gamers know which titles are bidding farewell the following month, thereby helping them decide which games to prioritize in their playlists. Usually, this list comes out simultaneously with the arrival of new games, providing ample time for players to finish up ongoing campaigns or dive into soon-to-depart titles. There have been rare instances where the list didn’t show up right away, but the current situation is different, with more than a week having passed without any update.

I, like many others, was banking on Sony announcing the upcoming departures for May’s PS Plus titles on Tuesday. This would typically give players a month’s warning, given that May’s collection is expected to be refreshed on the 20th, which is the third Tuesday of the month. It’s no surprise players are voicing their concerns, yet there’s still some hope floating around that the section will return sometime this week.
