With Black Friday just around the corner, Sony has jumped the gun and rolled out its early deals, presenting one of the most attractive offers for the PSVR 2 that we’ve encountered so far. The PSVR 2 bundle featuring Horizon Call of the Mountain is now available for a mere $350, slashing a hefty 42% off its regular price.
This marks the lowest price at which the PSVR 2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle has been offered this year. Inside the bundle, you’ll find the PSVR 2 headset, a pair of controllers, and a digital copy of the game Horizon Call of the Mountain, a standout title for the platform. When we reviewed it, we were quite impressed, giving it an 8.5 out of 10. Released initially in early 2023, the headset boasts OLED displays, smooth haptic feedback, a crystal-clear 2,000 × 2,040 resolution per eye, and inside-out tracking.
Though the PSVR 2 headset by itself has seen a dip to $350 in the past, this marks the first time this particular bundle has descended to such an enticing price. Interestingly, the standalone PSVR 2 headset is listed for $350 as well… but without the game. So, if you’re mulling over this deal, it’s a no-brainer to opt for the bundle.
This impressive discount comes on the heels of Sony’s recent August introduction of a PC VR adapter, priced at $60. This useful gadget allows the PSVR 2 to connect with SteamVR on compatible gaming PCs, albeit with some trade-offs like the absence of HDR, headset haptics, and adaptive triggers when used on PC.
Keep in mind, the $350 price tag is promoted as a limited-time deal. If it’s not in stock on Amazon, fear not; it’s also available at other major retailers like Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and directly from PlayStation.
