### Event Period and Location
Mark your calendars for Friday, December 6th, from 6 pm to 8 pm (CET) or 5 pm to 7 pm (UK time). This exciting competition is open to residents of a wide list of European countries, including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom, to name a few. Certain areas that are quite distant from central Europe, such as the Azores and the Svalbard archipelago, might face limitations when joining the event to ensure a seamless gaming experience for all.
### How to Participate
Joining the competition is straightforward. You’ll need a Nintendo Account linked to one of the participating countries, complete with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. It doesn’t matter if it’s a paid subscription or a free trial; all are welcome. Just make sure you own the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Game and use your Nintendo Account to play at least one match in the event’s tournament. Accessing the tournament is easy—simply head to the main menu in the Game, select “Online,” then navigate to “Official Tourney Qualifiers.”
### Understanding Tourney Scores
Tourney scores are key in this event, showcasing players’ skills based on match outcomes and the relative scores of opponents. You can keep track of your personal score anytime as you aim for the top. The best part? There’s no limit on the number of matches you can play during the event window, so keep playing to boost your score. Even if a match extends beyond the event hours, it will still contribute to your Tourney score.
### Winners and Prizes
Top performers aren’t going home empty-handed! The 10 highest-scoring participants will each win 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points. Those who make it into the top 100 will receive 1,000 Gold Points each. Just remember, if you change your account’s country setting to one not listed in the participating countries during or after the event, you’ll be disqualified. Similarly, any form of cheating or exploitation will not be tolerated and could lead to disqualification or even account suspension.
### Prize Delivery
Winners will see their well-earned Gold Points delivered to their Nintendo Account within two weeks following the event. You can easily verify the arrival of these points by checking the My Nintendo Point Log.
