When Survios dropped Alien: Rogue Incursion (2024) last week, we didn’t realize it was just the beginning. Not that you’re getting an incomplete game; it’s more like a taste of something bigger.
As players dove into the game on PC VR and PSVR 2, the label ‘Part One’ left many scratching their heads. Were we in for a full experience or just a teaser split into episodes?
In our thorough review, we highlighted the eight-hour gameplay as a complete experience and gave it a decent [7/10]. You’ll find immersive settings and thrilling run-ins with Xenomorphs, though the repeated enemy encounters and a challenging save system did dampen the excitement a bit.
Survios chimed in via a post on X, clarifying they never meant to confuse anyone with the ‘Part One’ tag. They assured fans this isn’t a tactic to string you along with game fragments. Yes, it wraps up with a cliffhanger, but that’s just the beginning of a two-part saga.
They’re already hard at work on Part Two, which promises “deadlier enemies and more difficult challenges.” That’s certainly piqued our interest.
We’re also curious about how the Quest version will perform once it hits Quest 3/3S on February 13, 2025. Our review pointed out the game’s dynamically loading levels, intricate textures, and a wealth of physics-based interactions—factors that likely contributed to the Quest launch delay.

To our valued community,
We’ve received a lot of feedback about the inclusion of “Part One” in Alien: Rogue Incursion’s opening moments and within the achievement/trophy list, as well as on store pages.
It was never our intention to mislead or cause confusion about what this game is. We understand now how “Part One” could be misinterpreted.
Part One is a standalone adventure that ends on a cliffhanger, and we wanted fans to know more was coming. That’s why we confirmed Part Two at launch. Our entire team at Survios loves the Alien universe and is excited to continue the story of Zula, Davis, and others.
While we have nothing further to announce about Part Two at the moment, rest assured we’re committed to sharing more exciting updates in the future.
Thank you for your excitement and passion for Alien: Rogue Incursion. We hope you enjoy exploring Purdan and Castor’s Cradle as much as we enjoyed creating it.
