Silent North, the latest sandbox survival shooter from the team at Combat Waffle, creators of Ghosts of Tabor, has officially landed in early access for Quest and PC VR headsets.
Drawing inspiration from Face Punch Studio’s renowned PvPvE hit, Rust, which came out in 2013, Silent North offers an expansive survival experience where players can shape their own destinies. Whether you’re forging alliances, double-crossing others, or simply savoring the dynamic world it offers, the choice is yours.
Scott Albright, the CEO and mastermind behind Combat Waffle Studios, commented on the fresh experience awaiting players: “Unlike Ghosts of Tabor, where your survival hinges on adrenaline-pumping raids, strategic combat, gear hunting, and extraction missions, Silent North brings something new to the table. The survival genre is rich in complexity, yet it often misses out on truly immersive VR experiences. Our goal is to bridge that gap,” he explained.
Of course, players should also prepare to face environmental dangers, navigate encounters with aggressive Infected—think zombies—and interact with other survivors jockeying for the same goal.
Marketed as an “alpha Early Access release,” Silent North can now be accessed on the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and higher, as well as on Steam for PC VR enthusiasts, all for the price of $20.
