TinyBuild, known for its development and publishing efforts, has decided to part ways with its quality assurance company, Red Cerberus. They’ve handed it over to TestFly, a testing firm, in a deal that pulls in $1.5 million in cash, paid once the acquisition is finalized.
Kevin Chelius, CEO of TestFly, expressed his excitement, saying, “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Red Cerberus into the TestFly fold. On the other side, TinyBuild’s CEO, Alex Nichiporchik, remarked, “Selling Red Cerberus is a significant step in refining our focus and dedication to what we excel at: crafting and expanding remarkable intellectual properties. Throughout our journey, Red Cerberus has played a pivotal role, and I want to extend my gratitude to the team for their hard work.”
Nichiporchik further noted that reallocating these resources will strengthen TinyBuild’s ability to capitalize on their creative projects, boosting their long-term revenue prospects with upcoming game releases. As they gear up to launch some highly promising titles in 2025, TinyBuild remains eager about what the future holds.
