While official details are still forthcoming, it seems like you’ll need an Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription to unlock all the achievements that come with this exciting new title, which is dropping as a day-one option.
For those eager to hit the slopes, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is now open for exploration on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC can jump right into the action. This game is the much-anticipated follow-up to Lonely Mountains: Downhill.
If you enjoyed gliding through the breathtaking alpine landscapes on a bike in the original game, you’re in for a treat. Snow Riders takes that thrill to another level by swapping bicycles for skis. Just like its predecessor, you’ll experience the heart-pumping rush of racing down intricate slopes filled with deep snow, icy patches, and opportunities for stunning jumps. Along the way, you’ll discover numerous shortcuts and hone your skills to climb up the leaderboards. A standout feature in this installment is the addition of online multiplayer. Whether you’re gearing up for competitive downhill races with up to eight players, or joining forces with a friend for a cooperative mountain adventure, you’re in for some unforgettable moments in these chilly terrains.

To complete them all, you’ll be tasked with unlocking new ski gear, overcoming a series of challenges, executing a wide range of tricks, and beating your personal Ghost scores. Keep an eye out for online achievements too, such as “Race Like You Mean It,” which challenges you to place in the top three in a Racing mode run with four or more players.
