Hello there, Xbox Insiders! With the holiday season in full swing, we couldn’t resist the urge to gift you something special. Let’s dive in and unwrap it together!
Just last month, we excitedly announced that Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream select games they own across various platforms such as TVs, browsers, smartphones, PCs, and tablets. This feature is accessible in all 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is active. We also mentioned that Xbox console streaming would be available starting next year.
As of today, those of you in the Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha rings can sneak a peek at this feature on your Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.
Stream Your Own Game on Your Xbox Console
For those Xbox Insiders who hold a Game Pass Ultimate membership, you’re in for a treat. You can now stream certain games you own — even beyond the usual Game Pass library — directly on your console in 28 supported countries, thanks to Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta). Wondering which games are included? You can find the complete list right [here](insert link).
With the new “Stream your own game” feature, you don’t have to install the game to enjoy it on your Xbox console. This neat option saves you time and hard drive space, letting you dive straight into gaming via the cloud.
To kick off your streaming adventure from your Xbox console, simply head to My games & apps > Full library > Owned Games.
Look out for a cloud badge on cloud-compatible games you own. To find titles faster, use filters by selecting Filter > Ready to play > Cloud gaming.
Once you find a game, go ahead and select it, then choose the Play with Cloud Gaming option to jump right in.
Keep an eye out for future updates that will allow you to launch directly from the Store app and stream on the Xbox app for Windows PC.
